A few of the verses seem to talk about being lazy or procrastinating.\u00a0 Both miss the opportunity before us today that will assure us blessings in the future.\u00a0 Look at verse 5, to gather in the summer and to work during the harvest.\u00a0 The problem with having plenty today one feels compelled to stop working and simply enjoy the fruit that is before them now.\u00a0 The only difficulty is if there is no gathering for the days of winter, when the fruit is not ready to pick, one will bring shame for not having enough.\u00a0 Many people who need help monthly do so because all they got at the beginning of the pay week was spent not caring about the bills due at the end of the week.\u00a0 A budget is a good thing and to save for emergencies is a smart way to live.\u00a0 Let\u2019s face it, we know our car will break down, we just do not know when.\u00a0 Am I right?\u00a0 An emergency fund helps so that when the expected or unexpected happens we\u2019re prepared.<\/p>\n
