We will consider verse 13 in this chapter today.\u00a0 The covering of sin causes one not to prosper.\u00a0 To live a life of secret sin will destroy you.\u00a0 We could insert the names of many famous people whose lives have fallen apart because of secret sinful life styles.\u00a0 A disturbing \u00a0trend now is to live your sinful life out in the open.\u00a0 Sin now is lived with pride, and this will defeat our country from within.<\/p>\n
The key to prosperity in God\u2019s eyes and with God\u2019s blessings is to confess our sins.\u00a0 Confessing means we have come to agreement with God that His way is right and my way is wrong.\u00a0 You declare this life style and behavior as an enemy to God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 The sin is named, confessed and declared as wrong.\u00a0 God honors this move of confession.<\/p>\n
