The roller coaster life of the Apostle Peter is one we should learn from and implement his life lessons into our life.\u00a0 Peter verbally made a commitment to stand with Christ.\u00a0 Peter draws the sword and makes a commitment to fight with Christ.\u00a0 Peter also falls asleep and denies Christ three times.\u00a0 The key to staying on solid ground with Jesus is by living in the Spirit.\u00a0 In verse 37 we are told the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.\u00a0 In the book of Galatians we are told to walk in the Spirit and we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.\u00a0 The way we should strive to stay in the Spirit is by first of all by being in God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 We should also ask that God allow the Spirit to control our lives.\u00a0 All of us should be surrendered to the obedience of His Word and His Spirit.\u00a0 Thirdly, we should ask God to keep us from temptation as we live out our Church life.<\/p>\n
