\"Luke\"<\/a>We are reading Luke chapter 13 today as we continue through this wonderful gospel.\u00a0 Sin is the problem and any sin causes death and separation from God.\u00a0 Jesus asks a question; \u201cDo you think their sins are greater?\u201d We always make ourselves feel better by comparing ourselves to one another.\u00a0 Jesus said we must repent of our sins in our life.\u00a0 Repenting is not saying \u201csorry\u201d, but it is turning away from doing the sin and replacing that action with a righteous action for God\u2019s glory.\u00a0 A saved person should have some godly fruit is what Christ goes on to say.\u00a0 Through repentance and receiving the Lord we are given life from the Spirit of God.\u00a0 A living person in Christ will bring fruit that glorifies God.\u00a0 As the chapter ends it talks about people not making it into heaven.\u00a0 These individuals ate with Jesus and spent time with the people of God.\u00a0 The key is repenting and allowing salvation to take.\u00a0 Are you a follower of Jesus?\u00a0 What are you holding on to that you know needs to go?\u00a0 Stop right there and don\u2019t say; \u201cWe all have problems or habits or we all sin,\u201d this is not what God said.\u00a0 He calls us to repent!
