\"Genesis\"<\/a>We are reading chapter 11 of Genesis:\u00a0 In chapter 10:8-10 we see a man named Nimrod becoming a great leader and setting up the city of Babel.\u00a0 In chapter 11 we see Nimrod building a tower, a religion to keep the people together and him in power.\u00a0 God\u2019s plan was for us to spread out over the earth.\u00a0 We do not know how long God allowed this to take place.\u00a0 Some feel God was wanting His people to rise up against Nimrod and this false religion.\u00a0 In order to stop all this wicked imagination from continuing, God changes their languages.\u00a0 All of a sudden you no longer can understand your neighbor.\u00a0 Their language was changed.\u00a0 God caused their brains to reconfigure to know and understand a new language while forgetting the old one.\u00a0 Soon everyone divided into tribes and nations.\u00a0 Let us remember communication is always the key to unity.\u00a0 In Acts, God reverses this situation and allows the Apostles to speak in different languages.\u00a0 As they spoke, God opened the ears of the people to hear it in their own language.\u00a0 Because some could not understand the Apostle they must have also spoken in their language.\u00a0 The gospel is the language that unifies.\u00a0 We fight over and argue over so much because we forget God\u2019s grace and the gospel that allows us to know truth and to grow in Him.\u00a0 Every nation can now come together under the cross of Jesus and the good news of redemption.\u00a0 This is the only way to coexist.\u00a0 One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess He is Lord.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"excerpt","protected":false},"author":1167,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"episode_type":"","audio_file":"","cover_image":"","cover_image_id":"","duration":"","filesize":"","date_recorded":"","explicit":"","block":"","itunes_episode_number":"","itunes_title":"","itunes_season_number":"","itunes_episode_type":"","filesize_raw":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[23],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4146","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-bible-reading"],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"jetpack_likes_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4146","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1167"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=4146"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4146\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4147,"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4146\/revisions\/4147"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=4146"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=4146"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=4146"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
