Today we are reading chapter 14 of Genesis.<\/p>\n

\"Genesis\"<\/a>An army comes in and destroys and kills the king of Sodom.\u00a0 They take everything of value including Lot and his wife.\u00a0 The news gets to Abram who gathers 318 \u201ctrained servants\u201d and he takes after them.\u00a0 Abram arms these men and I just wonder if they were trained in some type of fighting.\u00a0 People of God must be prepared for battle.\u00a0 The men of Abram are divided as they come upon this un-expecting army and the army destroys them, acquiring everything back.\u00a0 There seems to be some untold miracle or strong working of God\u2019s power.\u00a0 Live prepared to fight spiritually for your family.\u00a0 Be trained and help others to be trained in spiritual warfare.\u00a0 The Devil wants to destroy families.\u00a0 Don\u2019t leave your family in the enemy\u2019s camp!\u00a0 Arm yourself with the armor of God and retrieve them for God\u2019s glory.\u00a0 You cannot do it alone, Satan has an army, let the church help in your fight.<\/p>\n

After the battle, Abram gives Melchizedek, the high priest 10%, a tithe.\u00a0 Who is this Melchizedek? Hebrews 7:1-4:\u00a0 \u201cFor this Melchizedek, King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,\u00a0to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated \u201cking of righteousness,\u201d and then also king of Salem, meaning \u201cking of peace,\u201d\u00a0without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. Now consider how great this man\u00a0was,<\/em> to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils.\u201d<\/p>\n
