\"Genesis\"<\/a>In our reading today we have seen Abram chosen by God.\u00a0 For the first time we see the phrase the \u201cword of God\u201d.\u00a0 God had spoken in the past but now after Abram\u2019s encounter with the pre-incarnate Christ we see this phrase.\u00a0 Words are an interesting gift from God.\u00a0 Henry Morris said \u201cThe very purpose of language is that God might communicate His will to man and man might respond in praise to God.\u00a0 Since man was created for fellowship with God, and since fellowship requires communication, it is essential that the creator somehow speaks to man.\u201d<\/p>\n

God\u2019s Word is good, it will not fade away nor be broken.\u00a0 God tells Abram that He will be his shield, God gives us a shield in Ephesians that we should use in our daily battle.\u00a0 God also tells Abram He will be His reward.\u00a0 God will take care of Abram.\u00a0 God will both protect and bless.\u00a0 God will take care of us.\u00a0 Trust and follow His Word and see if God can bless you.\u00a0 Trust His Word for choosing relationships, and see if God can do something better.\u00a0 Trust His Word in your money, and see if God can do better.\u00a0 Trust His Word as a guide to raise your children, and see if He can do better.\u00a0 As the chapter progresses, God confirms this relationship with a sacrifice.\u00a0 God confirmed our relationship with the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus.\u00a0 Live today as if you have this wonderful promise of God and experience His better way.<\/p>\n
