\"Genesis\"<\/a>God determines that Sodom was finished.\u00a0 The grace of God which was taken for granted was over.\u00a0 In verse 14 Lot tries to save the people, but because of his conduct, they did not accept Lot\u2019s words.\u00a0 Sometimes we become too much like the world and our message is weakened.\u00a0 The angels were merciful and physically took Lot, his wife and daughters out of the city.\u00a0 Lot\u2019s wife looked back, being disobedient to the command of God, and was turned into a pillar of salt.<\/p>\n

Culture has a way of gaining control in our lives and the things of God become overshadowed.\u00a0 We still believe, but we do not live it out.\u00a0 We do not attend church as much, or serve Christ with our gifts in the church He placed us.\u00a0 We convince ourselves that we are being a witness, but the gospel message does not get presented.\u00a0 Remember, this all started with Lot pitching his tent towards Sodom.\u00a0 Sin calls by luring us through \u201cwindow shopping\u201d.\u00a0 Before we know it we are in the store.\u00a0 After a couple of visits we see something not so harmful and discounted so we buy in.\u00a0 The world then becomes our home, our traditions, and we do not see the wickedness any more.<\/p>\n
