Or do we need,\u00a0as some do,\u00a0letters of recommendation to you, or from you?\u00a0<strong><sup>2\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our<sup data-fn=\"#fen-ESV-28827a\" data-link=\"[&lt;a href=&quot;#fen-ESV-28827a&quot; title=&quot;See footnote a&quot;&gt;a&lt;\/a&gt;]\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2%20Corinthians+3&amp;version=ESV#fen-ESV-28827a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0hearts, to be known and read by all.\u00a0<strong><sup>3\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of\u00a0the living God, not on\u00a0tablets of stone but on\u00a0tablets of\u00a0human hearts.<sup data-fn=\"#fen-ESV-28828b\" data-link=\"[&lt;a href=&quot;#fen-ESV-28828b&quot; title=&quot;See footnote b&quot;&gt;b&lt;\/a&gt;]\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2%20Corinthians+3&amp;version=ESV#fen-ESV-28828b\">b<\/a>]<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><sup>Do people see Jesus when they look at your life? Can you even see Jesus when you look at your life? We need to walk this life so that people can see Jesus. <\/sup><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><sup>4\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.\u00a0<strong><sup>5\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but\u00a0our sufficiency is from God,\u00a0<strong><sup>6\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>who has made us sufficient to be\u00a0ministers of\u00a0a new covenant, not of\u00a0the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but\u00a0the Spirit gives life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Paul nor should we consider ourselves sufficient for the great task of changing lives for Jesus. Only Jesus is sufficient enough we just get the privilege to be the tool He uses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><sup>7\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Now if\u00a0the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory\u00a0that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses&#8217; face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,\u00a0<strong><sup>8\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?\u00a0<strong><sup>9\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>For if there was glory in\u00a0the ministry of condemnation,\u00a0the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.\u00a0<strong><sup>10\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it.\u00a0<strong><sup>11\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.<\/p>\n<p><strong><sup>12\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Since we have such a hope,\u00a0we are very bold,\u00a0<strong><sup>13\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>not like Moses,\u00a0who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.\u00a0<strong><sup>14\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But\u00a0their minds were\u00a0hardened. For to this day,\u00a0when they read\u00a0the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.\u00a0<strong><sup>15\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts.\u00a0<strong><sup>16\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But when\u00a0one<sup data-fn=\"#fen-ESV-28841c\" data-link=\"[&lt;a href=&quot;#fen-ESV-28841c&quot; title=&quot;See footnote c&quot;&gt;c&lt;\/a&gt;]\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=2%20Corinthians+3&amp;version=ESV#fen-ESV-28841c\">c<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0turns to the Lord,\u00a0the veil is removed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We need to be Bold in our faith. We need to be proud that we are followers of Christ and tell everybody about it.
