Pastor Joe and his family accepted the call to pastor MBC in May
of 2002. The Nogalski’s are happy and excited about being part of
this Church during this special time of growth. The Nogalski’s fully
believe that this is the place God has them to finish out their
ministry.

Pastor Joe comes to MBC from Dahlgren, IL. Bro. Joe pastored for
five years in Dahlgren and saw great growth. Before pastoring in
Dahlgren, Bro. Joe pastored Pleasant Valley Baptist in Grantsburg,
IL. Pleasant Valley was the Nogalski’s first pastorate where they
learned much about the ministry.

Pastor Joe was called to the ministry when he was 16 years of age.
Bro. Joe did not grow up in a Christian family but heard the gospel
from the testimony of his brother Bob who is now also pastoring.
Bro. Joe grew up in a housing project in Detroit, Michigan. Upon
completion of high school, Bro. Joe attended Baptist Bible College
in Springfield, MO. Bro. Joe has been in the ministry in different
capacities since graduating in the spring of 1985. While pastoring
in Dahlgren, IL Bro. Joe earned his Master of Divinity from the
Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Pastor Joe’s wife Joyce also graduated from Baptist Bible College
with a degree in children’s ministries. Bro. Joe and Joyce have two
children, Janay 15 , and Joey is 14.
