Create a Post:

I. First, log onto the church website: http://www.mbcnewhaven.com

II. Then, locate the “Post” option on left tool bar.

III. Click the “Post” option and a menu will drop down. Click on the “Add New” option

IV. A blank post screen should appear. Begin with the Title Box which is located at the top just under the “Add New Post”. Give your post an informative and short title.

V. Next, Enter the post information in the box below the Title box.

I. Once you have entered your information, double check it for typos and errors. For more information on formatting your post check out the tutorial “Formatting your Page or Post”

II. Then it is time to select what section this post should go to. Find the ministry section in the Category list on the lower right side. Click the box next to the appropriate Category.

III. Last thing is to either Publish or Save Draft.

a. When a post is Published it becomes live on the website.

b. When a post is Saved as a Draft, it is just saved for approval or future editing and is not visible on the website.
