Edit a Post:

I. First, log onto the church website: http://www.mbcnewhaven.com

II. Then, locate the “Post” option on left tool bar.

III. A list of Post will appear in the right side of the screen. Find the Post you would like to edit, but scrolling, using the filters or the search box.

IV. Once you have found the Post you would like to work on, move your mouse cursor over the title and three options will appear::

a. Edit: Click this option to open the Editing screen.

b. Quick Edit: Click this option and a quick edit menu will open which will allow you to edit some of the options of the post, but not the body text.

c. Trash: Click this option to delete your post. Remember, once it is deleted it is gone.

d. View: Click this option to view the what the post looks like.

V. If you click on the Edit option, the editing window will open. This is the same as the window used when you create a post. Make the changes or additions you need to make.

I. Last thing is to either Publish or Save Draft.

a. When a post is Published it becomes live on the website.

b. When a post is Saved as a Draft, it is just saved for approval or future editing and is not visible on the website.
