Matthew Chapter 25<\/p>\n
These parables are designed to help us understand the coming of Christ.\u00a0 The parable of the \u201cTen Virgins\u201d is interesting in that many have no oil.\u00a0 I believe they have a religious light but no \u201coil\u201d or Holy Spirit given at Salvation to continue the burning of the light.\u00a0 Many things jump out; first, they did not anticipate the Lord coming later.\u00a0 Without Oil (the Holy Spirit) we burn out quickly and have no longevity.\u00a0 Second, they got tired of waiting for the Lord to return.\u00a0 Many wonder even now if Christ will really come because of so many false signs.\u00a0 The foolish got serious as the entire world will and wanted oil at His return.\u00a0 There is no salvation after the return of Christ.\u00a0 The motivation is to live in the Spirit of God anticipating and living faithfully as we look for Christ return.<\/p>\n
As we are waiting we are serving and using our \u201ctalents\u201d for Christ.\u00a0 The talents are given to us as His children to use for the advancement of the Kingdom.\u00a0 The one knew of Christ but did not have a relationship with Christ where he knew how or where to use his talents.\u00a0 God\u2019s Children are His friends and servants and we gladly and joyfully use the talents for Him.\u00a0 Knowing they can only be multiplied and never used up.\u00a0 Anytime we use the talents given to us by our Lord they increase and bring glory to the Lord.\u00a0 Be free with what God has entrusted to your work.<\/p>\n
