Get up!\u00a0 The just man falls seven times and gets back up, verse 16.\u00a0 They do not stay in sin boasting that there are many down here and in the same situation.\u00a0 It is the wicked, not the redeemed, that fall and stay in their ways of mischief.\u00a0 We are called to break free of sin and to live in the strength and wisdom of God.\u00a0 Seek God\u2019s wisdom and enjoy counsel from wise godly people.\u00a0 When we fall we can all use a little help getting back up.<\/p>\n
Verse 17 and 18 made me laugh.\u00a0 Don\u2019t make fun of your enemy when they fall for this reason; God will be displeased with our rejoicing in their trouble.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s me, but living right so your enemies stay under the wrath of God made me smile.\u00a0 However, I do pray for my enemies and that this wrath will bring them to repentance where they can find God.\u00a0 After all we do trust God to avenge and to sustain us.\u00a0 We all know that if it were not for the grace of God we would be in the same place as they are.<\/p>\n
