\"Ephesians\"<\/a>Thursday<\/span>\u00a0is a great day to read God\u2019s Word!\u00a0 To be honest any day that ends in Y is an awesome day to hear from the King of Kings.\u00a0 We are reading the second chapter of Ephesians today.<\/p>\n

Verse 2 and 5 tell us that through Christ Jesus we are made alive. \u00a0We are given true life through the work and power of the Spirit which transforms us at the point of salvation.\u00a0 We are no longer dead, but have been given life.\u00a0 What does it mean to be dead?\u00a0 We know it does not mean anything physical for we do breathe and bleed.\u00a0 Therefore it means something very important spiritually.\u00a0 Before Christ we do not have a spiritual new nature, and we cannot know and live out the ways of God.\u00a0 Oh yes, we can be good and do right things but we could not be Godly, and live in the directives of God\u2019s Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Today as a child of God you should be awakened to the works and ways of God.\u00a0 You should grow in Scripture and in the discernment of His guiding Spirit.\u00a0 You should walk in His commandments and in His Spirit.\u00a0 You should listen to His Word both written and as He speaks into your life.\u00a0 You\u2019re alive! Praise the Lord and boldly go before Christ\u2019 throne because of this new life.\u00a0 When you were dead, you could not \u201cgo\u201d before the throne, for you were dead and unable to gain access.<\/p>\n
