\"Genesis\"<\/a>Joseph tells his brothers that God had a plan in the selling of him into slavery.\u00a0 That God meant it for good.\u00a0 God wanted to save the people.\u00a0 This is a divine plan of God with the people of God.\u00a0 There are so many ways to try and talk about this situation.\u00a0 I do believe this is not a call to believe every situation is a divine appointment by God.\u00a0 This situation was a divine time to save Israel.\u00a0 Now, I believe everything is seen by God, and allowed.\u00a0 But, I even have trouble saying this, because I know of innocent people caught up in the wickedness of other people\u2019s sin.\u00a0 I know God allows the sin, and it is not God but the sinner that has sinned.\u00a0 I know in the end they will be judged.\u00a0 But I see the innocent person\u2019s life destroyed.\u00a0 Like Joseph here.\u00a0 Joseph however got to see the reason, and the glory of God in his situation.\u00a0 Many do not get this privilege.\u00a0 God does promise to work in every situation if we will love and obey Him.\u00a0 I hope you also understand some situations are caused by our sins.\u00a0 The only plan God has there is bringing us to repentance.\u00a0 Remember the passage of scripture where Jesus could not do many mighty works because of their unbelief.\u00a0 We can limit God and miss out on God\u2019s best for our life.\u00a0 Remember there are consequences to our actions, and we cannot believe it is God\u2019s fault.\u00a0 God can use you in prison for His glory, but the reason for your imprisonment was sin.\u00a0 Never make a disappointing situation brought about by sin a divine moment when you\u2019re the one living in sin.\u00a0 This divine moment is to bring us to repentance.\u00a0 Now, in our repentance, God can take all those broken pieces of our lives and make something wonderful for His glory.\u00a0\u00a0 The mercy and grace of God should never cause us to accept our life of sin as a divine appointment of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"excerpt","protected":false},"author":1167,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"episode_type":"","audio_file":"","cover_image":"","cover_image_id":"","duration":"","filesize":"","date_recorded":"","explicit":"","block":"","itunes_episode_number":"","itunes_title":"","itunes_season_number":"","itunes_episode_type":"","filesize_raw":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[23],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4266","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-bible-reading"],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"jetpack_likes_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4266","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1167"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=4266"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4266\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4270,"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4266\/revisions\/4270"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=4266"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=4266"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mbcnewhaven.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=4266"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
