It is both the meeting place and the instrument that brings you and God together.<\/span><\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Verdana; font-size: xx-small;\"><strong><b><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">(Woodrow Kroll, in\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/strong><\/span><em><i><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">How to Find God in the Bible (taken from the insight for living daily devotions)<\/span><\/i><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">Christ is glorified, in His human side, because He glorified the Father.\u00a0 God glorifies Jesus because Jesus glorifies the Father.\u00a0 Jesus goes on to say He finished what God the Father sent him to accomplish.\u00a0 Paul in his writings said he finished his course, his purpose.\u00a0 You and I have a purpose that is only experienced when we live to glorify God.\u00a0 Life\u2019s purpose is not being happy, or finding more things to enjoy but to bring glory to God.\u00a0 God in return glorifies our life, not to bring glory to us, but to bring more glory to Him.\u00a0<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">Verses 9, Christ is praying for us, His followers.\u00a0 Christ said, &#8220;I am not praying for the world, those who will not follow, but for them that will follow&#8221;.\u00a0 He prays that God will keep them.\u00a0 He prays that \u201cMy joy will be fulfilled in them\u201d.\u00a0 He prays that we would be sanctified by God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 Sanctified is to be set apart for God and His glory.\u00a0 Verse 20 is where the connection from His disciples to us\u00a0is today, Christ is praying for us because we have believed through His Word.\u00a0 Through this wonderful prayer and our transformation in and through the blood of Christ we are made one.\u00a0 Christ is in us, God is in Christ and therefore we are in one another.\u00a0 We have the same Spirit.\u00a0 We are all of the same blood line!\u00a0 We are of the blood line that flows from\u00a0Calvary.\u00a0 The world will not understand us but they should see an unusual unity between us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">The Chapter ends with God\u2019s love being in us.\u00a0 We do not manufacture this unity with brain power or some determination of the will, but it is given to us through the Spirit of God when we received salvation.\u00a0 The love of God and unity of God is developed greater as we grow in sanctification through His Word. \u00a0How can all this happen?\u00a0 Jesus Christ our\u00a0Savior prayed that it would happen.\u00a0 If there is one person who gets their prayers answered it is Jesus.\u00a0 How will this prayer of Christ become hindered?\u00a0 Because we frustrate it by striving to live in the world, in our flesh and away from God\u2019s Word.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">God has so much more for you and me.\u00a0 We need to daily seek His glory and live in His Word so that the prayers of Jesus will be answered in our lives.\u00a0 I am excited to see how God will glorify Himself in your life this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;
