The Bible is very clear about God’s plan for His creation. God is a holy and just God and can not be in the presence of sin. The Bible is also clear that, no matter how good of a person we think we are, we have sinned against God (Romans 3:23).Although we are judged to this high standard, God has provided a way for us to be cleansed of all our sin.
The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was an awful event. It was also an awesome event. Jesus paid the price for our sins and died on that cross so that we could be forgiven. (Romans 5: 8-11)
It is up to you to choose whether or not to accept His payment. If you believe in your heart that Jesus is the virgin born son of God; that He died on the cross for your sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day. Ask Him to come into your life, to forgive you of your sins and to be your Lord.
If you feel the need to pray this prayer, it’s because God is leading you in this way. Our own stubbornness and the lies of Satan are roadblocks to finding forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
If you truly believe and have accepted the Lord as your personal Savior, please visit our church or another Bible teaching church and share this wonderful news with them. Fellow believers will rejoice with you that the Kingdom of God has one more citizen.
