We are looking at Paul’s speech in chapter 22 which happens right after he is captured.
What’s your testimony? If someone were to ask you today to give your testimony concerning the Lord and your salvation what would you say? This is what Paul does here. Paul gives his personal testimony of how he came to Christ. Paul starts with how he was a Jew, he was highly educated in the law and very zealous to destroy anyone who believed in this Jesus. But then Paul literally saw the light, our testimony would be figurative. But none the less all of us must realize who we are without Christ and who Christ is. Without a testimony of conversion how do you know you were converted? Read Paul’s testimony a couple of times and write out a simple testimony of how you came to Christ. Even if you were raised in Church, you should know when you realized you needed salvation. Maybe even share your testimony with someone.
When Paul’s testimony mentioned he was to be a missionary to the Gentiles, the mob raised their voices and shut him down. Are there people in the world you think are beyond salvation? God calls everyone to repent and to come into the saving knowledge of Christ.
