I love chapter 14 and verse 4 because it is a reminder that where life is there is a mess.  Can I get a witness, parents with small children or large ones?  The life of having dinner causes dishes that need to be cleaned.  The church and its ministers have to be reminded of this often.   Where there is ministry there are broken items and dirty walls.  After a church dinner there is dirt and crime on the floor and messes on the tables.  What is this mess?  A sign of life!  I hope you agree with me in praising God for messes, because that means there is life.  People sometimes get discouraged because of the way something is done is okay, and is better than not doing anything that no one gets frustrated for.  I have been there and will be there again.  Why?  I forget that the mess of cables on the stage means someone is singing praises to God.  I forget that the toilet that got broke means many people have been in God’s house and needed to flush.  I forget a stained carpet means many have walked to and fro.  When I remember there are messes where there is life, I keep the messes in perspective and praise God for life.  This past year there was no trash in Janay’s room because Janay lived life at BBC.  I like the trash!  Church, just so you know, I like your trash!
