Proverbs 17:17 Iron sharpens Iron. We need to be men and women of God that sharpen one another. People who help each other live better for Christ and God’s glory. As we read in verses 5, and 6 to be people willing to rebuke each other openly. The wounds may hurt but they are better than a kiss in public and a knife in the back when in private.
Do you make your friends sharper and a better tool for God’s work? Push your friends towards holiness and sound wisdom from God’s Word. Help your friends not to be lazy and encourage them in the work of God. We need each other to be better and more effective as His Church.
