Many mocked Jesus and made fun of whom He claimed to be. Today many still mock Jesus. As I write this many Christians are being killed because the world still mocks Jesus. They cried out to Jesus asking Him to save Himself, as if He couldn’t save Himself. Jesus stayed on the cross to open up salvation even for those who mocked. At Christ’ death one of the guards said “Truly this was the Son of God”. I for one am glad that Jesus stayed on the cross, for His death is my life. As that Roman guard declared, I know, and shout JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD! You must believe Jesus is God, and that His death, burial and resurrection is the payment for your sins. This simple process of mercy is so difficult for people to see and believe. Share this good news with someone today. Don’t let someone’s mockery silence the glorious message of hope.
