revelationIn chapter 16 of Revelation we see the wrath and judgment of God poured out.  God must judge sin and cleanse the world of unrighteousness.  We see the battle of Armageddon.  Can a loving God bring such devastation to mankind?  Yes!  A few times in this chapter we see the phrase, they did not repent of their deeds.  We live in a time in our country where following God does not mean changing our actions, or attitude.  Somehow we feel as if we can love God with our “heart” void of our actions or words.  God calls us to repent and change our life for His glory.  True repentance changes our actions as well as our heart.  I agree there must be a work of the Spirit and a transformation of the heart first, but the Spirit will change our actions.  Every sickness, every challenge in life should cause us to hold on to God and His grace more.  God is just and will judge injustice.  Serve Him with your heart, words and actions.  Hold on to truth for we will win in Christ.

Pray for the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and around the world.  Pray we can find a cure, but pray that it will cause us to seek the true and living God of grace and mercy.  For our country many of the problems are being caused by our blatant move away from God.  As we move away God’s protection and blessings are also removed.  We must have a revival in our country.
