Today we are reading chapter 6 of the book of Luke. This chapter challenges us on our walk with the Lord. Read this chapter and ask yourself if you are following Jesus. Are you living a life that will be blessed or a life of woes? Are you treating others in the way God would have you? Are you willing to help others after you pull the sin out of your own life? Are you building on the rock by doing the teachings of Christ? This chapter is one of those hard spiritual examinations that leave us exposed to our ‘fleshly ways”. Salvation is not an event that just takes place but a transformation that continues through our earthly journey. Have you surrendered all? This is what it means to follow Jesus.
