You and I are filled with the Holy Ghost if you’re saved, but you and I can also can be full of the Holy Ghost if we allow it. The Spirit of God on us in power is a gift from God and we see it throughout the Scriptures. Do you even acknowledge you have the Spirit and ask that God the Spirit to lead you through your day? Jesus who is all God spent time fasting and praying. How close do you desire to be to God? When Jesus was tempted He quoted Scripture. How much Scripture can you quote in context to do battle with the devil? You and I have a physical life to live but the important life is our spiritual life that we are called to walk in. There is no “normal life” for a redeemed Child of God. God’s Spirit wants to use you to proclaim His truth to a lost and dying world. Ask that God’s Spirit be a leading and controlling factor in your life today. Live as a doer of His Word and draw closer to God as you serve Him.
