As we read chapter 5 of Genesis we see the descendants of Adam. Today we cannot put ourselves in their life span. They lived over 900 years! Methuselah is mentioned who is the oldest person in the Bible at 969 years. Life was different in the beginning of time. My favorite person in the Old Testament is mentioned in verses 21-24. We see a man named Enoch who lived to be 365 years old. This man walked with God each and every day. God and Enoch had such a close relationship that God “took him”. God allowed Enoch to walk out of this world into the next. Enoch did not die. I think this was our first picture of the rapture, one day God will come and take us. Are you walking with God in such a close way that you are ready for Him to take you? There are moments when my mind drifts, I am thankful God did not return. The rapture will happen in a moment in a twinkling of an eye. This is quicker than a blink. The next time you blink you can be physically in the presents of God. You and I need to live ready to go home.
We have the privilege to walk with God as we walk in the Spirit
