Jesus is crucified, because of your sins!
Jesus shed His blood for the payment of your sins.
Jesus lies in the grave dead, satisfying the wrath of God the Father.
When Christ was on the cross, you were on His mind. Your sins where justified by the enormous payment of Christ the Son of God. This was enough grace to cover all of your sins, setting you free from the power of sin.
It was your sins!

I am thankful I saw my need for Jesus in January 1976. I did not just believe in Jesus. I needed this salvation to pay for my sins! His blood covered me. His Spirit filled me. Today I live needing Jesus for what has been accomplished through salvation, but also needing Jesus to accomplish great things for His glory.
