Wisdom and knowledge wants to throw a party! I guess it is a nerd party??? It is a party of success! The seven pillars show us that it is a big house. The fatted cafe was slain and there is plenty of meat. The wine is mixed, “wine was diluted with water as much as 1 to 8, to reduce its power to intoxicate. It was also mixed with spices for flavor. Unmixed wine is called strong drink.” (John MacArthur study bible) Anyway there is good stuff to drink! We are all invited to the table of God’s wisdom. The wise will take it and enjoy, but the fools will reject it and scoff at it. Our attitude to the truths of God tells us where our hearts are. It is awesome to grow in God’s Word, and grace!
There is a point where the Spirit controls us and dethrones our flesh. At that point there is a spiritual celebration with the God of all wisdom and knowledge. This is the pursuit we are called to follow and it is not a dead, no fun zone, but a Spiritual ecstasy that blows away anything you can experience in the flesh. Come and celebrate Christ!
