We continue with the thought of living out the faith. The older people are called to live as an example before the younger. Churches have too many activities that are age divided instead of family oriented. We need the younger and older working together to strengthen each other in God’s Word and action.
Wives are called to live godly so husbands see it, fathers are to live godly so their children see it, and masters are to live out Christ. Employers and employees should live godly at work. Somehow what we hear preached should be lived out. Think about that for a few minutes. Do we live as examples of believers, or do we say I know it’s wrong but . . . it’s not that bad. Do we say God does not care about this? If so, what is our argument to make even the smallest sin acceptable. We cannot make this case by comparing our situation to the holiness of God. The only way any sin becomes acceptable is when we compare ourselves to ourselves.
I am praying that today God will motivate us to live out our faith and be an example of Christ in every area of our lives.
