Jesus taught, besides the miracles Jesus preached and taught about the kingdom. Jesus desires for us to learn more about Him and the deeper truths of God. Jesus has a longing for us to know the mysteries of the Kingdom. You and I by reading God’s Word acquire knowledge about God. In verse 40 Jesus asked, “How is it that you have no faith?’. Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Jesus just taught the disciples, they just heard God speak, and they also experienced His healing power. The word of God must take root in our heart and life for faith to be produced. We need to remove the cares of this world (these are weeds that kill the word) and focus on the power and joy of our eternal world so faith can flourish. We must believe what Jesus taught by being a student of action. We must live trusting He is able to keep us and work in and through us.
Jesus taught and it has been recorded in the Bible, God’s Word. Are you willing to surrender to God’s Word and His teaching? Are you willing to allow faith to grow by living out God’s Word? Today is your day to grab hold of His truth and experience God.
