Faith, what is it? Faith is not about me but me being void of self and surrendered to Christ. Because I must believe who Jesus is, do what Jesus said, and trust Jesus will do that which is best for His glory and honor. A life of faith is not a conjuring up of something but a taking in of God’s Word so my confidence rests no longer in me, but in Christ. My mind becomes transformed through His Word so I stop living in the realm of the flesh, but I allow the Spirit that Christ gave me at salvation to have control. Yes they did not have faith, because they thought it depended on them. Trust in God’s grace which gave us salvation and this wonderful gift of faith.
Does this faith make sense? Faith does not mean we do not fear, it means we continue trusting even in our fear.
