We are reading in Ephesians this morning. What an awesome letter under the inspiration of God from Paul to this Church. There are so many truths for us to celebrate in these six chapters.
Verse 3 -We see God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. All we need spiritually belongs to us through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Verse 4 -We see God has chosen us before the foundation of the world. You are picked by God to be holy and blameless in His love.
Verse 5 -We see God has predestined us to be adopted by Christ Jesus.
Verse 6 -We see God made us acceptable
Verses 7 and 8 -God made His grace abound towards us.
Verse 9 -God makes known to us the mysteries of His wisdom.
We are part of the redemption story! God has purposed in you and me to do an awesome work of His grace. In that work we are called to do amazing achievements for the praise and glory of God. Without US being saved, there is no purpose for the cross. You and I through the shed blood of Christ are agents of God on mission for God. The gospel is Jesus’ Death, His burial and His resurrection. However, the gospel is good news to us. US, BEING SAVED is why the gospel is good news! Celebrate what Christ has done on your behalf today.
