We can grow! Spiritual immaturity is not anyone’s fault but our own. Yes we should have been discipled and raised better spiritually, but now you can get in God’s Word on your own as well. God said we can enjoy the milk of God’s word, but we need to grow past the milk in to meat. I find it exciting that I can learn and grow in God’s Word because of my new life in Christ. You and I can exceed past the beginning teachings of the simple things of God’s love. Yes it is important to know God’s love as it is for a child to know his or her parents love them. But we must also know more about this world and understand the holiness, wrath and justice of a living God. We should grow to know what it means to be a church and why God created the local church. We should know what it means to walk in the Spirit and to discern good and evil along with God’s will. Have a spiritual elementary graduation and let’s learn some spiritual geometry. You’ll be glad you did.
