Life is about relationships – our relationship with our church family, our relationship with God and our relationship in marriage/family. God is committed to this relationship and He promised He will never leave or forsake us. Be committed to the relationship by knowing God has placed some in authority; pray for them and allow them to lead. Continue in the relationship by not allowing your mind to drift from God’s Word to follow strange doctrines. We must accept others and their differences. It may not be the way we would do it, but “weird” does not mean wrong. Just so you know the way we live seems a little odd to someone as well.
I love that we are not in a religion but a relationship. God, therefore, accepts me, corrects me and continues on using me for His glory. I am thankful for my church family relationship. It is not about “this is the way we do it”, but how is God working in you and me today. I will never want to forsake doctrine but I am glad there are some new things in our relationship.
