Luke Chapter 20

In chapter 20 there are many questions asked of Jesus.  But they really did not want an answer, they just wanted to cause confusion and catch Jesus in a lie.  Many times people will ask you and I unanswerable questions that we should ignore or bring the question back to them another way.   Questions that start with “What if” always seem to cause people to stumble.  Always remember “What if” questions are not based in truth and do not need an answer.  However, we should be diligent to search scripture to know and understand truth.  For us to ask questions in the light of seeking real answers is spiritually healthy.  Jesus will answer our questions through His Word by the illumination of His Spirit.  Always base your life on the rock of truth which is Christ speaking in the Word of God.
