Today we are reading Genesis chapter 27.
Okay, what truth is God trying to show us in chapter 27? The promise of God does pass on through Jacob who received the blessing through deception. Esau misses out but this was prophesied at their birth. I do see one truth that causes problems within the home and that is favoritism. It is easier to connect with a child that connects with what you enjoy, but we must make sure we do not exclude the other one from our parental love and care. Division in the home happens, but just like unity in the church comes from Christ, so does unity in the home. Have a godly home in everything you do.
