Isaac sins like his father, and Isaac is blessed like his father. Too often we forget we are forming a life as parents, and they will take on much of who we are, not what we say. How we live will determine many of the choices our children will make, not always, but in many ways. Notice how God met with Isaac. Our children must have their own encounter with Jesus Christ as Savior, and Lord. You can pass on who God is but everyone must make their own personal relationship with God the Father. God was also blessing Isaac because of the covenant God made with Abraham. God was going to honor His Word and did honor His promise.
Meet with God today in prayer and through the reading of His Word. Celebrate today that every promise God made will happen. Today God is with me and never forsakes me. Today I just need to draw closer to God and He will draw closer to me. Today God will hear my prayers and work in my life according to my request made for His glory.
