Family is a very unpredictable and unselected unit. We fight one another, we love one another, we help one another and we bug one another. This chapter shows Joseph getting a little pay back. Joseph is having fun at the expense of his brothers, who had it coming by the way. The hardest instruction in the Bible is to make Jesus more important than family. To be able to make biblical choices, not emotional choices. Yes, we will always have that heart bent on doing whatever needs to be done for our family. However, we must remember there are times we must let God do a work in their lives. There is no greater joy than to have a family that loves God, and lives for His glory.
