This is a great picture of our salvation. We are covered by the blood of Christ. We are told without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. Through the blood our sins are forgiven, and we can come boldly before the throne of God. Our life should be lost in our salvation. We should live simply in obedience to Christ. Moses is with God on the mountain for 40 days. 40 is a period of testing. I really believe we can change our walk with God if we would commit to obedience for 40 days. In 40 days you can truly change your behavior, and do away with those sins that easily turn you from God. The great thing to remember is we can do this because we have the power of God. Start today a godly habit. Maintain this habit for 40 days, and see what God can do.
