• Are you ready for a miracle?  God does some amazing things in this chapter that should excite us.  Verse 4, He must go through Samaria.  When God said Jesus came to seek and to save the lost He meant it.  Jesus was coming to save and He had a divine appointment with this outcast, Samaritan women. (Samaritans where half Jews and not accepted by the Jews.)  Jesus wants to have an appointment with you today.
  • Jesus met this lady doing a daily task; you may be a divine appointment for someone.  You may do this by just handing someone a tract at work or speaking to them about Jesus.  Your daily task is where God is working, don’t under estimate your job or daily errors, God is using them.
  • Verse 10:  If you knew!  I want to know the gift of God!  I want to know God! I want the living water that satisfies my soul.  Seek Jesus in Spirit and in truth.  You’re doing that right now by reading His Word.  This is seeking Jesus and worshiping Jesus in Truth.  Second you worship in Spirit through the Spirit that God gave us when we became born again.  This is your divine appointment with Jesus right now; He must meet with you and me today.  Will you take the time to stop?  The cool part is Jesus already knows our sins, she had five husbands! Don’t let your sins stop you from coming to Christ, just confess them and forsake them.
  • The harvest is now.  There are many people wanting to know the true Jesus and we need to harvest them by sharing the gospel.  Jesus’ disciples baptized many, but Jesus was always harvesting as well as disciplining people.
  • Verse 40 is awesome to me, they asked Jesus to stay and He did.  Are we in too much of a hurry to stop and spend time with Jesus?  Jesus is willing to stay longer with us, but we too often push Him away.
  • Verse 49:  A man comes to seek healing for his son.  Jesus didn’t have to leave and go to this man’s house.  Jesus just spoke the word, and his son would be saved.  Are you praying for Jesus to speak a word into your child’s life?  Keep praying for that word to come for God is at work and desires to heal.
  • What an exciting chapter!  I pray God has shown you something and has spoken to your soul.  This is day four and if you are a day behind, just keep reading.   We are seeking time with the Lord not a check list of it being done.

Keep Reading and share your thoughts and questions.
