What do you think of the way the disciples followed Jesus? Do you think they were all in? They seem to be committed to being a true follower of Christ.
Having a relationship with Jesus is of more value in my life than _______________________. What are we willing to put in there? I know we could write the word everything, and we would feel as if we are willing to give up everything for God. But what if we started listing what we have, what we do, and truly searched our hearts to see if a relationship with Jesus is worth more. You are willing to sacrifice the things you value less. What do we push the things of God off for?
What comes before prayer in our lives? I know we would say I always pray, but I am not talking about making short sighted one line statements in the air towards God, but true conversation with God.
What come before fellowship in God’s Word?
What comes before being my part of the church, the community God has gifted me to be part of?
What comes before worship?
What comes before Bible study?
We hear families struggling because of a lack of family time. We hear of couples struggling because they lack personal intimate time together. But we should not sacrifice relationship time with God to make these things happen. Time with God will make time in earthly relationship more powerful.
John 1:12 “power to become the sons of God”
John 6:31-35 “bread” Jesus is our resource for soul satisfaction. I do not need anything because my soul is full and satisfied with Jesus.
