bible In Chapter 11 of the Gospel of Mark we see the Triumphal entry of Jesus where the people cry, Hosanna!  Hosanna means save us now.  The people worship Jesus this week but in a few days they will cry crucify Him.  There is no change in the message of Christ nor in the purpose of Christ, but there is a change in the hearts of the people.  When Christ lines up with us we praise Him, when Christ does not bless and answer prayers in and through our perspective we quickly disregard Him.  Remember Jesus is the one that is the same yesterday today and forever, we are the ones who move from where we need to be.

I think one of the ways to stay strong in the Lord is through faith.  Faith is the total surrender and trust in who Christ is, what Christ desires to do and how Christ decides to do it.  Therefore when we speak in Christ all things will come to pass for we no longer live in the changing tides of our own life but in the consistent directives of Christ.  Prayer is not a list but a conversation that develops a relationship through God’s Word.  Prayer is not us talking God into something but dialoging with the King of Kings and listening to His Word and Spirit as we meditate on the ways of God.  I want to encourage you to develop a relationship of prayer that includes listening.  A relationship that will bring answers and powerful results.

Let God be King and have a triumphal entry into your heart as we worship and follow Him.
