letter-to-the-galatiansPaul wants us to be concerned for our brothers and sisters in Christ. We must be willing to restore them in the faith as they repent and turn back to God. Paul also tells us that we are responsible for ourselves. We are to make sure we are in the faith and living for God’s glory. We will not stand before God and have anyone else to blame for our actions. However, we may be judged for not helping others come back into fellowship with Christ. Paul continues this thought, wanting us to fully comprehend that none of us can get away with sin. Our willfulness to commit sin is considered mocking God. Reject sinful behavior, repent of your sins, and return to a blessed relationship with God. Anyone who does not will reap the rewards of their action. We are blessed through salvation with the privilege of having a personal relationship with God. We are somehow easily moved away from a life that glorifies God. We’re just like Adam and Eve who were tempted, drawn away and committed sin, when we really have all we need in Christ as we worship and fellowship with Him. Do you think you can get away with sin? You won’t! Do you think you will not fall? You will, so restore others knowing one day you will need to be restored. Do you think you have special permission to remain in sin? You don’t!
