This is such a wonderful thought that God will finish the work He has begun in us. God wants to continue working in and through us after salvation. Too many times we hinder that work by quenching the Spirit and not being obedient to God’s Word. God puts Spiritual people, called the church, in our life to aid that work of God. Paul comprehended that even his imprisonment was part of God’s work to make his life more usable for God’s glory. Don’t picket or protest what God is doing, but surrender to His work in your life.
