Today God is speaking to us out of Genesis, chapter 24. Ask God to open your heart to receive His truths. Humble yourself before Him and allow God to direct your life.
In this chapter we see Abraham looking for a wife for his son Isaac. Are you praying for your children’s spouses to be? Are you willing to search other lands, and invest as much as possible to help them find the right person? “Where you fish will determine what you catch”. Abraham went back to his people to find someone that serves the true, and living God. Godliness is the first quality to everything else. Looks, and being a good person are okay qualities but Godliness will bless you all of your days. Being able to worship the true, and living God together is of extreme importance. God warns us about being unequally yoked with unbelievers. We should spend as much time teaching godliness to our children as we do sports. The greatest accomplishment in our lives will be teaching our children to flourish for God’s glory. Help your children find a godly wife or husband.
