Exodus-2This is a hard time for the children of Israel.  The Egyptians did not know about our modern way of killing babies or Moses would have been aborted.  Think of how many people, that could have lead us a better way, that have been aborted in our country.  We must continue to be a voice for the unborn, much louder than society has become for the life of animals.

Moses was spared from death and God allowed his mother to raise him in the palace.  From the start of this young man’s life we see God has a special plan for Moses.  Moses did act out in anger, and killed an Egyptian.  In spite of this action Moses will still be used by God.  But throughout his life anger will get the best of Moses, and he will miss the promised land.  Anger is an emotion that we can pull down through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Acting on our anger is where sin takes hold.  Being angry is not the sin, the actions it produces causes us to sin.  Give your anger over to the Lord, and allow Him to help you to react appropriately to the sin and injustices in our culture.
