Do you want to know how to have more than enough? First be a follower of Jesus. Not just a Christian in name only, but a follower of Christ.

Second, like Philip come clean about your situation. Jesus knew what he was going to say, but he wanted to prove Philip- vs 6. When we follow Jesus daily there are pop quizzes to see where we are on our journey. God has given me so much more when I have simply come clean with God. Philip declares to God, there is not enough! I do not know how many times God has given me a quiz and I just shouted, I don’t know what to do! But those are the times God does the God thing. There have been way too many times I just guess on one of God’s pop quizzes, and I can almost hear God laughing at my response.

Andrew gives us our third step to having enough with God; give Him what you have. Remember we are looking to feed 5,000 men. And Andrew tells the Lord we have five loves and two small fish. He does add, what is this among so many? With God it is enough! Use what you have and don’t be afraid to run out with God. You got enough to do what God wants to do, He will make it last.

The last step to having enough with God is to remember He is in the miracle business. Don’t be afraid to speak up with your little voice for God, because He may just magnify it to do great things. Don’t be afraid to contribute what you have, because He may use it to do great things.

Today allow God to use what you have and who you are to do great things. You have enough when you are a true follower of Christ.
